Harvest
The grapes are harvested in mid-March. 10% of the whole bunches and the uncrushed grapes are cold macerated for one week and then fermented at 28°C, with a high temperature of 32°C towards the first third of the fermentation process, with a soft extraction. After post-fermentation maceration, the wine is separated from its pomace and immediately decanted for 24-hours before being transferred to barrels to ensure a solid structure and colour setting. The wine spends 15 months in second-use French Oak barrels.
Winemaker's Comment:
Bright pale green coloured wine. A fruity wine with citric nuances of grapefruit and orange blossom alongside gooseberries, with a characteristic mineral finish that is synonymous of the Leyda Valley. Elegant and compact, this is a wine with a well-balanced and vibrant acidity that flows around the palate as its fruitful flavours increase in intensity. A long-lasting and fruity finish.
