HISTORY

MedallaRealwasbornin1983inhonourofFranciscoGarcíaHuidobro,anancestorofthefoundingfamilyoftheSantaRitayMarquésdeCasaReal,whoestablishedthefirstmintinChile.TocommemoratetheBicentennialofthisevent,amedalwascoinedwithhisfaceandtheemblemoftheSpanishRoyalCrown.

Traditionandrecognisedqualityhaveplayedafundamentalpartinthiswine’shistory,helpingtocreateaclassicvarietyofwinesthatrepresentSantaRita,madeupofMedallaRealReserva,MedallaRealGoldMedalandMedallaRealGranReserva.
