Reserva / Merlot
Ageing: 4 - 5 years.
The fermentation period includes selected yeasts and the extraction is defined over the course of the process. In general, the pump overs are more intense at the start of fermentation and reduced towards the halfway point or end of the process. The post-fermentation maceration time is defined for each individual batch, varying from just a few hours to ten days for the fermentation process to end. The wine is aged in contact with 40% French Oak and 60% American Oak for a period of eight months.
It is a ruby red coloured wine with good intensity. Its bouquet is dominated by fresh red ripened fruit with spiced notes originating from the wood it is aged in. It is medium-bodied, with the silkiness of a balanced wine thanks to its acidity that adds a refreshing burst. This wine has a long-lasting and pleasant finish.- BUY -
